What Is Breast Aug?
Breast augmentation is one of the most performed plastic surgery procedures in the world — and for good reason. Whether you desire a subtle enhancement or a more dramatic transformation, the right implant selection and surgical technique can produce results that look and feel entirely natural.
Dr. Frew takes a highly individualized approach, guiding each patient through implant type, size, shape, and placement to achieve results that complement their unique anatomy. The goal is always proportionate beauty — not a look that reads as "augmented."
Schedule Your ConsultationIdeal Candidates
- You are self-conscious about breast size or lack of upper-pole fullness
- Your breasts are asymmetrical in size or shape
- Your breasts have lost volume following pregnancy, breastfeeding, or weight loss
- You are in good overall health and at a stable weight
- You are 18 or older (21+ for silicone implants, per FDA guidelines)
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
The Process
Implant Selection
Dr. Frew uses 3D imaging and a thorough consultation to help you visualize and select the ideal implant — silicone or saline, round or anatomic, smooth or textured — based on your anatomy and goals.
Incision Placement
The most common incision is inframammary (beneath the breast crease), which offers excellent access and keeps scars well hidden. Other options are discussed based on your anatomy.
Pocket Creation & Placement
Implants are placed either beneath the breast tissue (subglandular), beneath the muscle (submuscular), or in a dual-plane position — determined by your tissue thickness and the desired outcome.
Closure & Recovery
Incisions are closed in layers for minimal scarring. A surgical bra is applied, and you're guided through your recovery plan before leaving the surgical center.

- Implants initially sit high — they settle into their final position over 3–6 months
- Scar maturation takes 12–18 months; final scars are typically faint and well-concealed
